COMPANY SECTION COMPETITIONS 2014

The WofE & CI District enjoyed two fantastic competition days in recent months. The Company Section Sportsday was held on 15th February and the Junior Funday was on the 29th March. Both Days were very well attended with Companies travelling from the furthest points of our huge District.

There was great determination and commitment shown from the youngest competitor to the oldest leader!! Many things impressed me over the two events but two things stood out and they were fellowship and respect. Even though there was a great atmosphere of opposition there were always still handshakes, laughter and even some manly hugs!! Everyone present was a winner in my eyes. “It’s not the winning that counts but the taking part” and this is never more apparent than at one of these BB events. The overall winner on the day was the BB itself!! Well done to all that took part to make these days so special. Hope to see you all next year!!!
