kacy's Uganda trip 2014

kacy Brown for 1st Yate in Bristol which is part of  the Avon Batalion went to Uganda for a week in 2014 . as of this he asked if he could have a donation towards the trip so he could do and the disrect said yes of course as its to help other people just not him self . this is the letter he sent the distrect to say thanks you .

Dear Ian ( avon rep and past distrect president )

I thought you and the Boys' Brigade would like to know how I got on, on my trip to Uganda.

This trip was a life changing experience and changed my view on the things I have in life. It made me think that I take things for granted a lot and I should cherish the things I get in life. The trip was a real eye-opener and it was great to see how life is on the other side of the world.

I enjoyed teaching the wonderful children we met. We taught them basic English and Maths while we were out there and they enjoyed it. We did different activities with them after we taught them and they had a laugh for an hour or so. The children we taught were brilliant.

I have included some photos and extracts from our daily blog so you can see some of the things we were doing.

Thank you for your generous donation towards my trip. It was very worthwhile with loads of great memories. I enjoyed it so much I have applied to go again in 2016 and I have been accepted.

Yours sincerely,
Kacy Brown
